Designing then Training an upgraded Innovation Management methodology is only the beginning of a winning Culture Change in any large B2B corporation. It is important to provide continuous coaching to support the deployment phase, helping the organisation to adopt and take ownership of the new approach.
SOLUTION
The ORL (Opportunity Readiness Level) Innovation methodology has been designed with the intent to help any organisation boosting their Innovation performance. It was customized in order to leverage the structure of the client organisation. Once the training was deliver, a specific coaching program was established with the intent to help the teams appropriate the ORL methodology and help them to accelerate their decision making process. In this case, a specific focus was put on the Discovery phase (especially around full Market Value Chain exploration) and Solutions Design phase (Development of winning Business Models scenarios).
IMPACT
The close coaching effort has helped the teams to take full ownership of the methodology, morphing the tools with their legacy activities, and raising their strategic awareness. Increasing the comfort level of the organisation with the new approach has also accelerated the investment decision process.
